Sisters in truth
S.I.T is a place where grief is understood, acknowledged, and supported through compassionate, community-led care transforms how women are viewed and how they move through grief with dignity, knowledge, and support.
What is S.I.T
Retreat in Grief is a 1- to 2-day healing seminar designed to teach foundational grief knowledge and introduce creative, culturally relevant coping tools. The program is deeply informed by my own personal experience with grief and the emotional weight carried as both a daughter and a woman expected to hold space for others. This retreat was born from my need to find language, tools, and community after my own loss when traditional forms of support were either inaccessible or culturally out of reach.
